Projector Guidelines for Churches

Postby maxlamp on Mon Aug 25, 2008 6:31 pm

Many places of worship have become technology savvy, capitalizing on the latest and greatest multi-media to get their message to the flock. Some may record video of a service or program, and broadcast it later via their website. Others may simply stream the video feeds directly to a large screen during Sunday Morning Service. No matter what manner of media these groups choose, it is important to have a projector that will meet the unique needs of a worship service.

Many projectors on the market will show adequate images on a screen as long as the room is relatively dark, and the projector is somewhat close to the screen. In the case of most Church Sanctuaries, the distance a projector will throw an image, and the brightness (lumens rating) of the projector will most effect the results. Here are a few tipsthat will help with choosing the best projector for your place of worship.
